Google Assistant is easy to activate on your phone. Download the Google Home app from the Play Store on your Android phone. When downloaded, open the app and find your Google Assistant settings in the app. Here you can activate your smart assistant, after which you need to calibrate it so that it recognises your voice. Once you are done with this, you can start using your smart assistant. Through your phone, there are 3 ways to activate your assistant.

  1. Hold your smartphone's home button for a moment, your Google Assistant will respond.

  2. Open the Google app and click on the microphone icon at the bottom.

  3. Speak to your smart assistant 'Hey Google' or 'Ok Google'.
